To investigate a legitimate issue, support may need information such as:

This information can help support investigate your issue without taking control of your wallet.

## What Support Will Never Need

Official support does not need your:

**Seed Phrase**

**Recovery Phrase**

**Private Key**

Do not provide these credentials to anyone claiming they are required to:

**Verify your wallet**

**Fix your Quest account**

**Recover your Founding Holder number**

**Confirm a transaction**

**Release an Ambassador reward**

or

**Investigate your account**

Your private wallet credentials should remain private.

## How to Report a Suspicious Account or Link

If someone claims to represent METAFORGE, MFORGE Quest or Magnummeta and you are uncertain whether they are legitimate:

**1. Do not provide private information.**

**2. Do not connect your wallet.**

**3. Do not approve a transaction.**

**4. Do not send MFORGE or other assets.**

**5. Capture the account name, message or link where safe to do so.**

**6. Return to this Resource Centre.**

**7. Report the incident through the official support channel.**

Do not continue communicating with the suspicious account simply to investigate it yourself.
