# Scams, Fake Support & Account Safety

## Never Trust a Link Just Because It Looks Official

Scammers can create websites, social accounts and Telegram profiles that imitate legitimate brands.

A fake link may differ from the legitimate address by only one character.

For example, scammers may use:

**Misspellings**

**Extra characters**

**Different domain endings**

**Look-alike letters**

or

**Shortened links that hide the destination**

Whenever possible, access MFORGE Quest services through the official Resource Centre or verified official METAFORGE channels.

### Be Careful With Search Results and Advertisements

Searching for a wallet, exchange or decentralized application can sometimes surface third-party pages or advertisements before the service you intended to visit.

Do not assume the first search result is legitimate.

Verify the destination before:

**Connecting your wallet**

**Approving a transaction**

or

**Entering any sensitive information**

Bookmarking trusted official pages can reduce the need to search for them repeatedly.

## Beware of Fake Support

Scammers frequently impersonate support teams.

Someone may contact you and say:

“Your wallet has a problem.”

“Your Founding Holder position is about to expire.”

“Your reward is stuck.”

“Your wallet needs to be validated.”

“Send your recovery phrase so we can fix it.”

“Send MFORGE first to unlock your reward.”

These are major warning signs.

Official MFORGE Quest support does not need your seed phrase or private key to investigate a campaign account issue.

### Support Will Not Ask You to Send Tokens to Unlock Rewards

Ambassador rewards are sent to your registered MFORGE Reward Wallet after applicable settlement approval.

You should not be required to send MFORGE to another wallet simply to:

**Unlock a reward**

**Activate a payout**

**Release WRU**

**Release RHAU**

or

**Verify your Reward Wallet**

If someone makes such a request while claiming to represent MFORGE Quest, do not proceed through that message.

Verify the request through an official support channel.

## Protect Your Telegram Account

Because MFORGE Quest operates through Telegram, protecting your Telegram account is also important.

Use available Telegram security features such as additional account protection and regularly review active sessions.

Be cautious of accounts impersonating:

**METAFORGE**

**MFORGE Quest**

**Magnummeta**

**Campaign administrators**

or

**Ambassadors**

A familiar logo or display name does not prove that an account is official.

## Be Careful With Direct Messages

A scammer may join the same community and message you privately after seeing your question in a public group.

They may claim:

“I'm from support.”

or

“I can help you fix your wallet.”

Do not assume that someone is legitimate because they knew what you asked in the community.

Return to the official channel and verify how support is provided before continuing.

## If Something Looks Wrong

If you encounter:

**An unfamiliar transaction request**

**A suspicious link**

**A fake METAFORGE account**

**Someone requesting private wallet credentials**

**Someone requesting payment to unlock a reward**

**A suspicious MFORGE contract**

or

**Unexpected activity in your Quest account**

do not continue interacting with the suspicious source.

Use the official MFORGE Quest support channel to report the issue.

If you believe your wallet credentials themselves may have been compromised, treat the situation as a wallet-security incident and follow the security guidance of your wallet provider.
