# Security & Wallet Safety

## Protecting Your MFORGE Quest Journey

Your wallet gives you direct control over your digital assets.

That control also comes with responsibility.

Whether you are joining MFORGE Quest as a Participant, becoming an MFORGE Founding Holder, or receiving rewards as an Ambassador, protecting your wallet is one of the most important parts of your journey.

The most important rule is:

MFORGE Quest, METAFORGE, Magnummeta and legitimate support representatives will never need your private wallet credentials to help you participate.

## The Three Things You Must Never Share

Never share your:

**Seed Phrase**

**Recovery Phrase**

**Private Key**

Anyone who obtains these credentials may be able to take control of your wallet and the assets inside it.

No legitimate MFORGE Quest process requires you to provide them.

Not for:

**Joining MFORGE Quest**

**Registering your wallet**

**Buying MFORGE**

**Becoming a Founding Holder**

**Verifying your acquisition**

**Checking retention**

**Becoming an Ambassador**

**Receiving Ambassador rewards**

or

**Contacting support**

## Your Wallet Address Is Different

Your public wallet address is not the same as your private key.

A BNB Smart Chain wallet address normally looks similar to:

0x1234...ABCD

Your public wallet address can be used to:

**Register your MFORGE Quest wallet**

**Receive MFORGE**

**Receive Ambassador rewards**

and

**Verify applicable on-chain campaign activity**

Sharing your public wallet address does not give someone control of your wallet.

Your private credentials, however, must remain private.

## MFORGE Quest Uses BNB Smart Chain

MFORGE operates on:

**BNB Smart Chain**

When interacting with MFORGE, always confirm that you are using the correct blockchain network.

Using the wrong network can result in transactions not appearing where expected and, depending on the transaction, may make recovery difficult or impossible.

Before completing a transaction, check:

**Network: BNB Smart Chain**

**Token: MFORGE**

**Wallet: Your intended wallet**

**Transaction details: Correct**

## Always Verify the Official MFORGE Contract Address

Token names and symbols can be copied.

Someone can create another token and call it:

**MFORGE**

The name alone does not prove that you are interacting with the official MFORGE token.

The most important identifier is the:

**Official MFORGE Contract Address**

Before swapping for MFORGE or manually adding MFORGE to a wallet, obtain the contract address from an official METAFORGE or MFORGE Quest source.

Then compare it carefully before confirming your transaction.

Do not rely on a contract address sent to you through an unsolicited private message, comment or unknown group.

### Why the Contract Address Matters

Imagine Tiffany searches for MFORGE and sees two tokens:

**MFORGE**

and

**MFORGE**

They may have:

The same name.

The same ticker.

A similar logo.

One may even attempt to imitate official branding.

The contract address distinguishes the actual token.

Therefore:

**Logo ≠ verification**

**Token name ≠ verification**

**Ticker ≠ verification**

**Official contract address = critical verification point**

## Use the Official MFORGE Acquisition Guide

MFORGE Quest provides an official step-by-step guide for acquiring MFORGE through the approved PancakeSwap route.

Whenever possible, begin from the official Resource Centre rather than searching randomly for a swap link.

and

**Add MFORGE to your wallet if required**

## Check Before You Confirm

Blockchain transactions can be difficult or impossible to reverse after confirmation.

Before approving a swap or transfer, check:

**1. The website**

Are you using the intended official service?

**2. The network**

Are you on BNB Smart Chain?

**3. The token**

Have you verified MFORGE using the official contract address?

**4. The amount**

Is the amount you are about to transact correct?

**5. The wallet**

Are you using the wallet you intended to use?

**6. The transaction request**

Does the request match the action you intended to perform?

If something looks different from what you expected, do not rush to approve it.

### Ambassadors Must Never Take Custody of Participant Funds

An MFORGE Quest Ambassador can:

**Explain the campaign**

**Share official resources**

**Help participants understand the process**

**Share their referral link**

and

**Direct participants to the official acquisition guide**

An Ambassador should not require a participant to send them money or MFORGE so that the Ambassador can perform the participant's acquisition on their behalf.

The participant should remain in control of their own wallet and transaction.

### Never Let Someone “Set Up” Your Wallet Using Their Recovery Phrase

If someone creates a wallet for you and already knows the recovery phrase, they may retain control of that wallet.

Even if the wallet appears to belong to you, anyone with the recovery phrase may be able to access it.

Create and secure your own wallet using the wallet provider's legitimate application or service.

Keep your recovery information somewhere only you can access.

## Be Careful When Connecting Your Wallet

Connecting a wallet to a website is different from simply visiting a website.

Before connecting, verify that you trust the application.

Be especially cautious when a website unexpectedly asks you to:

**Sign a message**

**Approve a token**

**Approve spending**

**Confirm a transaction**

or

**Switch networks**

Read what your wallet is asking you to approve.

Do not approve requests simply because someone tells you to “click confirm.”

### Connecting Is Not the Same as Sending

A wallet connection by itself generally allows a decentralized application to identify the connected public wallet address.

A separate approval, signature or transaction may be required for additional actions.

This is why your wallet displays confirmation requests.

Treat those confirmation screens seriously.

If the action shown in your wallet does not match what you intended to do:

**Reject it.**

### Token Approvals Require Attention

Some decentralized applications may require token approval before a swap can take place.

For example, when swapping USDT for MFORGE, you may first be asked to approve the applicable token for use by the swap application.

This can be a normal part of decentralized trading.

However, never assume every approval request is legitimate.

Check that:

**You intentionally initiated the transaction**

**You are interacting with the intended application**

and

**The approval relates to the transaction you intended to perform**

## Keep Some BNB for Network Fees

Transactions on BNB Smart Chain require network fees commonly referred to as gas fees.

These fees are generally paid using:

**BNB**

Depending on the action, you may need a small amount of BNB in your wallet to complete blockchain transactions such as:

**Swapping**

**Sending MFORGE**

**Token approvals**

or

**Other on-chain interactions**

Network fees are blockchain transaction costs and are separate from the MFORGE Quest reward system.

## Can't See MFORGE in Your Wallet?

A successful blockchain transaction does not always mean your wallet interface will automatically display the token.

If your transaction has been confirmed but MFORGE is not visible, you may need to:

**Import/Add the MFORGE token**

using the official MFORGE contract address.

This does not mean your MFORGE has disappeared.

First verify the transaction and wallet address, then follow the:

Do not import a random MFORGE contract found through an unofficial source.

### Your Registered Wallet Matters

If you are participating in MFORGE Quest as a Founding Holder, use the wallet registered to your Quest account for applicable qualifying activity.

The campaign uses your Registered Wallet to associate qualifying on-chain activity with your participant journey.

Acquiring MFORGE through an unrelated wallet may mean that the activity cannot automatically be associated with your Quest account.

Do not create another Quest identity simply because you used the wrong wallet.

Use the applicable account or official support process to resolve legitimate wallet issues.

### Your Ambassador Reward Wallet Matters Too

If you are an Ambassador, make sure your:

**MFORGE Reward Wallet**

is correct before settlement.

Approved rewards are sent to the registered Reward Wallet.

Before saving or changing it:

**Check every character**

**Confirm the network**

**Confirm that you control the wallet**

and

**Never use a wallet address provided to you by someone claiming they need to receive the reward for you**

Wallet changes may be subject to additional security verification or a temporary settlement hold.

## MFORGE Is a Market-Traded Digital Asset

Wallet security is only one category of risk.

MFORGE is market traded, which means its market price can move.

The value of MFORGE can:

**Increase**

or

**Decrease**

Participation in MFORGE Quest does not guarantee:

**Future MFORGE price**

**Profit**

**Investment return**

**Liquidity at a particular price**

or

**A particular future value for Ambassador rewards**

Participants should understand both the ecosystem and the risks before deciding whether to acquire MFORGE.

## Your 10-Second Security Check

Before any important MFORGE transaction, ask:

**Am I on the correct website?**

**Am I using BNB Smart Chain?**

**Did I verify the official MFORGE contract address?**

**Is this the wallet I intended to use?**

**Does the transaction shown in my wallet match what I intended to do?**

**Is anyone pressuring me to act quickly?**

**Has anyone asked for my seed phrase, recovery phrase or private key?**

If something does not look right:

**Your seed phrase and private key are never required by MFORGE Quest**

Keep them private.

**Verify MFORGE by its official contract address**

Do not rely on the token name, ticker or logo alone.

Confirm your network before interacting with MFORGE.

**Keep control of your own wallet**

Ambassadors and support representatives do not need custody of your funds.

**Never pay someone to “unlock” an Ambassador reward**

Approved rewards are sent through the official settlement process.

**Check every transaction before approving it**

Wallet confirmation screens are an important security checkpoint.
